Electrical outlets
This week we are working on adding electrical outlets to the wall where I want my sconces to be places on the left and right side of the wall (2 red circles)
The Plan
This Media room is where our Weekend nights have been lit! Ever since COVID, this has been our go-to party area literally.
Its time to give it a makeover.
My husband is a minimalistic modern decor person and I am a mix of everything depending on my mood.
For this room, I wanted a 1900's theater feel but the husband wanted a modern feel so I combined them both.
Projecter wall is masculine with the crocodile print wall paper and added a neutral touch to it via the media console that I built from scratch. (Check here)
The dry bar wall is going to be a 1900's cinema feel with DIY pillars, DIY lighted crown molding and gold sconces with a cute bar cabinet that has gold inlays.
Theme : Black, gold, merlot

Week 2 : Electricals
The Before :
Electricals are going on 2 walls in the room. These walls are to the left and right of the projector screen. Wall 2 is on the right facing the projector wall and that wall will have the dry bar with pillars, sconces and lighted crown molding.
Wall 3 is on the left side facing the projector screen and this one will have a huge life size art with a focus light and lighted crown molding.
We need 2 electrical sockets for the sconces (wall2 ) and 1 for the focus light (wall 3)
We are cutting holes into the walls to extend the wires to these sconces and adding a switch to the focus light.
